![]() ![]() So if not for anything else they could say that they were a part of it. I mean, why not, right!? I'm not a psychic or anything so I dunno what the future holds in store for this site, but I think anyone could agree that it has a lot of potential to become HUGE! So a wise person would invest in this. I'm with Slap when it comes to inviting others to join in all this coolness. Divided almost evenly between random members and Fiend's music (was planning on remixing and building upon one as a tribute- I think that's the word for it). Trackwise, I've only saved 13 (excluding the few rmx's of my stuff). Of the 30-50 loops I snagged I've only used 2 or 3 to date. ![]() ![]() Created an acount to download, but first uploaded two tracks (Crashing Waves & Overdrive if I remember correctly). True, I discovered this site whilst on my mad conquest to score free loops + samples. Looperman, I see what you're saying, but I'm one of those exceptions to the rule there. Trackwise, leavin 'em up isn't a biggy and all ya gotta do is disable download if yer concerned there. Helven, if yer worried about your stuff becoming the fodder for those random leechers you might could take off your loops/acapellas and only offer them up to the people ya pal around with. So like good ole Ben Franklin let us land on some middle ground. On one side you have Helven's point and on the other is what Looperman said. I think this is a post that will run and run.I've said my piece.thank you.ĭonnieVyros : Fri 25th Apr 2008 : 15 years agoįakey off of the curb with these 'Ghost accounts'. The only other real bugbear that I have is people joining and then just adding a link to their myspace account etc.personally I find that kind of rude and never follow the link unless they have stuff uploaded here too. I know that at the end of the day this is a site for people to get free loops but if that is all that it was I know that I wouldn't have spent many happy hours here and made some good friends. Obvioulsy, I don't think we should be forcing people to upload loops or tracks but I think an avatar should be the minimum requirement to show willing that you want to be a part of the community and not just take. To be fair, some have often just joined the site so I guess that can be excused. I don't have enough fingers to count the times that I have clicked on one of the members at the bottom of the page to discover that they have no avatar, no tracks and no loops uploaded. Maybe there is something in the air because of these leaner meaner times that we're all living in.which is why I understand perfectly where Helven is coming from. ![]()
